Merry Christmas and a happy new year all! Today’s post as meant to be looking over last years blog goals but I don’t want to do that so I’m not gunna. Instead I wanted to look back over the year.
Last year I didn’t set any personal goals and I thought it might make me feel a little crappy when this time came but it has had the opposite affect. This year I have done things I wouldn’t have even thought to aspire to.
Read more books – This year I read the first four Harry Potter books and I’m currently on the fifth.
Learn a language – I started learning German in May and I have learnt so much already. I have a little group of other German learners and we all compete and try improve together.
Be more me – I feel I have learnt a lot about myself in recent years I know what music I really like and I am not just being the “Runaway Bride” (if you haven’t seen the film you should watch it)
A job I like – I always thought being an adult meant hating your job but that’s not true. I really like my job and the people in my job. And it really makes a difference. This time last year I can remember getting a little sickly feeling every time I thought about having to go to work. It made my Christmas suck and I felt very stressed.
Family – I love my family and I have loved every moment spent with them. I want more memories and pictures with my family in 2018.
I have set goals for this year but I hope I can review my memories as well as goals next year.
